Sany Renewable Energy Co. Ltd. (688349.SH) has secured two large contracts to supply 1.6 gigawatts of wind turbines to Indian clients. The deals mark the company’s expansion into the global market, as the demand for renewable energy is expected to slow down in China. Under the agreements, Sany Renewable Energy’s Indian subsidiary will supply 1,324 megawatts of turbines to three units of JSW Group, an Indian conglomerate. Additionally, the company will supply 300 megawatts of turbines to an Indian unit of Sembcorp Industries Ltd, a Singaporean energy giant. These deals demonstrate the company’s success in expanding its presence in the growing Indian renewable energy market.
