Triumph has unveiled the new Tiger Sport 800, a sport touring motorcycle that sits above the Tiger Sport 660 in the range. The bike features a powerful 798cc inline-triple mill that produces 113.43bhp and 95Nm of torque, and is available in four color options. The bike has a sport tourer design with a twin LED headlamp, large and wide stepped saddle, and a roomy seat. It also features an upright riding stance with centre-set footpegs, a wide handlebar, and a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and quickshifter. The bike has three ride modes (Road, Rain, and Sport) and features electronically adjustable suspension and anti-lock braking system. The fuel tank capacity is 18.5 liters, with an estimated range of 380 km on a full tank. The bike is priced at £12,620 in the European market and is expected to be launched in India towards the end of 2024, with a price tag of around Rs 13 lakh, ex-showroom. The bike will compete with other premium sport touring bikes like the Honda NX500, Kawasaki Versys 650, BMW F900XR, Ducati Multistrada V2, and Suzuki V-Strom 800DE.
