ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has launched a new insurance product called ICICI Pru Wish, specifically designed for women to address critical illnesses and surgeries. The product, in collaboration with Reinsurance Group of America (RGA), provides a lump sum payout upon diagnosis of covered illnesses such as breast, cervical, and uterine cancers, as well as heart conditions. Policyholders receive a fixed payout, regardless of treatment expenses or location, and can choose optional coverage for maternity complications and congenital illnesses in newborns. The plan offers flexibility with fixed premiums for up to 30 years, a 12-month premium sabbatical, and multiple claims for certain conditions. The product aims to reduce financial distress linked to women-specific health risks.
