The Union Bank of India’s national-level quiz competition, “U-Genius 3.0”, held its finale in Mumbai. The three-month event attracted over 12,500 teams from 3,700 schools across 48 cities in India. The competition aimed to foster a competitive spirit and promote intellectual growth among students. Union Bank’s MD & CEO, A. Manimekhalai, stated that the bank launched U-Genius in 2022 to promote nation building and youth empowerment. The winners of the competition were Aditya Giri and Naman Bhotika from St. Paul’s English School in Bengaluru. Kabir Dubey and Harsh Khandekar from Jawaharlal Nehru Public School in Bhopal were the first runner-up, and Aditya Gupta and Yuvraj Nawalakha from Jayshree Periwal High School in Jaipur were the second runner-up. The event aimed to inspire young minds and promote intellectual growth among students.
