RBL Bank has appointed Amit Patil as its Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its cybersecurity and risk management strategies. With significant experience in information security and risk management, Patil will focus on enhancing the bank’s digital security framework and protecting its critical financial data from emerging cyber threats. Prior to this role, he worked in leadership positions at Syngene International Limited and IDFC FIRST Bank, where he managed cybersecurity risk and compliance, implemented cloud security, and led the Threat Management division. As Deputy CISO, Patil will leverage his expertise in AI-driven security frameworks, dark web analysis, and threat intelligence to strengthen RBL Bank’s digital defenses, mitigate cyber threats, and ensure regulatory compliance. This appointment reflects the bank’s commitment to safeguarding customer data and reinforcing trust in its digital platforms.
