Air India has launched a new route connecting Chennai to Jammu and Kashmir, offering tourists from South India a seamless and hassle-free vacation to the snow-capped hills of North India. The route, which includes a layover in New Delhi, allows passengers to book a single ticket from Chennai to either Jammu or Srinagar, making it a convenient option.

The flight schedule is as follows: For the Chennai to Jammu route, the journey begins with a flight from Chennai to New Delhi, followed by a connection to Jammu on an Air India Express flight. On the return leg, the flight from Jammu to New Delhi is followed by a connecting flight to Chennai. For the Chennai to Srinagar route, the flight leaves Chennai for New Delhi, then connects to Srinagar, and on the return leg, the flight from Srinagar to New Delhi is followed by a connection to Chennai.

The best part is that checked-in baggage will be automatically transferred to the final destination without the need for rechecking at New Delhi, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience. Passengers can book a single ticket for the entire journey, and their baggage will be transferred directly to the final destination without any additional checks. This new route is expected to compete with other airline services and provide a convenient option for tourists from South India to visit the beautiful Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir.
