Air India, owned by the Tata Group, has launched its A350-900 aircraft operations on its Delhi-Newark Liberty International Airport route, marking an expansion of its premium services. This move follows the success of the A350 service on the Delhi-New York (JFK) route, which launched on November 1, 2024. The new aircraft offers enhanced amenities, including Business Class private suites, a dedicated Premium Economy section, and upgraded entertainment systems. The service also includes refined catering and designed serviceware. The cabin crew, dressed in Manish Malhotra-designed uniforms, celebrated the launch with a promotional campaign featuring iconic New York City filming locations, connecting Indian aviation with American cultural landmarks. The campaign included recreations of famous movie scenes from movies like “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” and “Ocean’s 8.” The launch marks a significant expansion of Air India’s premium service offerings, providing passengers with a more luxurious experience on its Delhi-Newark route.
