The innovative concept, which uses text and visual interactions interchangeably, minimizes user effort and reduces ticket-booking time. The feature allows users to specify their travel intent and complete the reservation instantly, making the booking journey seamless and efficient. The award-winning innovation will be rolled out across Air India’s digital channels, including its mobile app, website, and chatbot. The airline’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Dr. Satya Ramaswamy, stated that the win is an honor and a testament to Air India’s commitment to being “customer-obsessed” and “design-rich”. The feature is powered by Air India’s consumer-facing generative AI technologies, which include its virtual agent AI.g, the first and most advanced generative AI virtual agent in the global airline industry.
