Air India Express is set to launch a direct flight from Mangalore, Karnataka, to Singapore from January 21. This will be the first non-West Asia international flight to operate from Mangalore. The airline will operate two direct flights a week between the two cities. This development is expected to boost tourism and trade between the two regions. The flight will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays, departing from Mangalore at 2:30 am and arriving in Singapore at 10:30 am. The return flight will depart from Singapore at 12:30 am and arrive in Mangalore at 6:30 am. This new route is expected to benefit the local economy and provide a convenient travel option for passengers.
