Alliance Air has announced it will operate two flights per week from Guwahati to Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, starting soon. The flights will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, departing Guwahati at 12:10 pm and arriving in Ziro at 1:25 pm. The return flight will leave Ziro at 1:50 pm and reach Guwahati at 3:05 pm. This development is expected to boost tourism in Ziro, which has emerged as a popular MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination. The deputy commissioner of Lower Subansiri, Vivek HP, also expressed hope that the direct flights will enable residents to travel to larger cities for medical attention, accessing specialized healthcare services. With this increased connectivity, residents will benefit from shorter travel times to receive medical treatment. This new flight route is a significant development for the region, supporting both tourism and healthcare initiatives.
