IndiGo has launched two new direct flights from Pune, one to Dubai and one to Bangkok. The Pune-Dubai flight will operate daily, while the Pune-Bangkok flight will run three times a week. These new routes aim to enhance trade and tourism between the cities and contribute to economic growth. The new flights will increase onward connectivity for passengers from Pune, which previously only had two direct international flights. With the addition of these new routes, Pune now has four direct international connections to Dubai, Bangkok, and Singapore. Air India Express has also launched a new service from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi, and plans to expand its operations from Kolkata and Bagdogra airports, increasing its weekly frequency by 37%. These developments are expected to benefit tourism and economic growth in the respective regions.
