In 1973, scientists flew on Concorde 001 to chase the solar eclipse across Africa. Those scientists enjoyed 74 minutes of time inside the path of totality.
This 8-minute video shares the story well. Even the mid-video commercial is well placed.
Imagine, all this was done long before the magenta line we’ve all grown accustomed to.
