The Kamarajar port at Ennore in North Chennai will become Cape compliant – to handle large Capesize ships – by investing ₹325 crore in the dredging project this fiscal. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has handled 420 million metric tonnes (MMT), an increase of 24 per cent year-over-year (YoY) cargo in FY24 (including international ports).
