The University of Cincinnati’s Board of Trustees has elected Procter & Gamble (P&G) President and CEO David Taylor as its next board chair. Taylor, who has led P&G since 2013, will assume the chair position on July 1, 2023. He will succeed current Chair David Brite, who has held the position since 2017. Taylor brings over 38 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, with a deep understanding of the importance of education and community engagement. As board chair, Taylor will work closely with the university’s administration, faculty, and staff to advance the university’s strategic initiatives and programs. He has previously served on the boards of several organizations, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Taylor’s appointment reflects the university’s commitment to attracting leaders from the business community to its board, bringing valuable expertise and insights to support the university’s mission.
