Haldiram Snack, a leading packaged food company, has announced plans to invest Rs 300 crore in Bihar to set up a manufacturing unit. The company, which produces sweets, namkeen, bhujia, and snacks, has signed an MoU with the Bihar government to make this investment. The new plant will be located on a 12-acre land in Sikanderpur, Bihta, and is expected to be operational by mid-2027. According to Sanjay Singhania, Vice President of Haldiram Snack, the company will be manufacturing sweets, namkeens, and snacks at the plant. The investment is expected to create new job opportunities in the state. Haldiram Snack is a family-promoted company, and this new investment is a significant move for the company to expand its operations in the eastern region of India.
