Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd has increased its advertising spending by 14% in the first half of fiscal year 2025, compared to the same period last year. The company spent Rs 442 crore between April and September 2024, up from Rs 387 crore in the same period last year. The increase in advertising spend is aimed at funding programs such as the oral health movement and innovations in the market. The company’s net profit rose 16.17% to Rs 395.05 crore in the quarter ended September 2024. However, domestic net sales growth declined marginally to 10.5% in Q2 FY 25 from 10.7% in Q2 FY 24. The company’s CEO, Prabha Narasimhan, outlined the company’s strategies, which include growing the oral category, premiumization, leading growth in toothbrushes and devices, and diversifying the personal care business.
