On the 222nd anniversary of the Bengal Engineer Group and Centre, senior Indian Army officers and their families visited the Patanjali campus to recognize its contributions to health and wellness. The officers, including retired Lieutenant Generals and Brigadiers, met with Patanjali founders Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna. They explored the facilities and acknowledged Patanjali’s role in promoting holistic well-being through yoga and Ayurveda. Ramdev highlighted Patanjali’s mission to help Indian citizens achieve mental, physical, and spiritual freedom through traditional practices. He emphasized the alignment of Patanjali’s goals with the Bengal Engineer Group’s focus on “engineering” a strong India. Balkrishna, Patanjali’s managing director, spoke about the shared vision of service to the nation and emphasized the importance of appreciating Indian heritage. The celebration provided an opportunity for both organizations to exchange insights on leadership and service. The visit aimed to foster awareness about the benefits of traditional practices and promote self-reliance and national pride.
