Lufthansa Technik and Air India Express sign EMS agreement

The contract includes overhauling a minimum of three CFM56-7B engines for the Boeing 737-800 fleet.

The now concluded agreement is the first one ever signed between the international MRO (maintenance, repair, overhaul) provider and the subsidiary of Air India.

In addition to the EMS, Lufthansa Technik also supports a part of the Boeing 737 fleet of the airline with ad hoc repair and exchange of components as well as Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Services.
