The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued several recalls last week, affecting over 104,000 vehicles. Among the recalled vehicles are 90,081 General Motors (GM) vehicles, including certain models of Cadillac and Chevrolet cars equipped with a 10-speed transmission. The recall is due to a potential issue with the transmission control valve, which may experience excessive wear over time, potentially causing harsh shifting or temporary wheel lock-up. Dealers will install transmission control module monitoring software for free and notify owners on April 21.

Another recall affects 7,276 Land Rover 2025 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles, where a manufacturing error may cause the second-row center seat belt buckle to not latch correctly. Dealers will replace the seat belt free of charge and notify owners on May 2.

Additionally, 7,022 Ineos Automatics 2024 Grenadier vehicles were recalled due to a potential issue with the door button mechanism, which may not have received a sufficient application of grease during assembly, potentially preventing the door from latching fully. Ineos will replace the door button assemblies for free and notify owners between March 31 and May 4.

If you’re a vehicle owner, you can check for recalls on the NHTSA website, which allows you to search for recalls by your vehicle’s identification number (VIN). If your vehicle is not listed below, you can also check USA TODAY’s automotive recall database.
