Citroën has announced the opening of order books for its new electric SUV, the ë-C3 Aircross, priced from £22,990. The vehicle sits above the existing ë-C3 in the Citroën range and benefits from a platform shared with other Stellantis models, including the Fiat Grande Panda and Vauxhall Frontera.

The ë-C3 Aircross comes equipped with a 113bhp motor, 44kWh battery, and a range of up to 188 miles on a single charge, making it suitable for daily use. Rapid charging to 80% takes just 26 minutes. A larger battery option is also planned for release later in the year for customers who require extended range.

With a length of 4.39 meters, the new ë-C3 Aircross offers class-leading rear seat space and a 460-liter boot capacity, expandable to 1,600 liters with the seats folded. A seven-seat version is available, but this is not battery-electric. Two trim levels are offered, PLUS and MAX, with a range of standard and optional equipment.

Standard equipment across the range includes 17-inch alloys, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera, and rain-sensing wipers. Advancing to MAX trim adds extra features such as parking sensors, a heated windshield, blind-spot monitoring, LED rear lights, and a range of comfort-focused interior features like heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless charger.

Orders for the ë-C3 Aircross are now open, with first deliveries expected in late spring. This new electric SUV offers a compact, practical, and feature-rich package, perfect for city commuters and families looking for a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative.
