The Department of Biotechnology at the Central University of Haryana (CUH) organized a hands-on training program for students at Government Senior Secondary School, Akoda. The program aimed to bridge the gap between school education and higher academics, providing students with a lab experience in DNA extraction techniques and scientific equipment usage. The event was led by Dr. Humira Sonah, who introduced students to the role of DNA in genetics and evolutionary processes. The program was praised for its innovative approach to science education. Separately, Aditya, a first-year student at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, participated in a road safety quiz organized by the Yamunanagar district administration and emerged as the first runner-up, competing against 50 participants. The college principal, Dr. Pratima Sharma, and governing body chairman, Sardar Randeep Singh Jauhar, congratulated Aditya and acknowledged the efforts of the Road Safety Cell Coordinator and faculty members for encouraging student participation.
