BioWISE, a pioneering initiative, aims to empower women entering the STEM workforce, particularly in the life sciences sector. The initiative is made possible through a collaborative effort between Biocon Foundation, which will provide funding, and industry partner Biocon Biologics, whose experts will offer mentorship and guidance. The National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) will serve as the host institute and academic mentoring partner, lending its expertise and resources to the program. Additionally, the BeST Cluster will contribute to the design, management, and implementation of BioWISE, ensuring a well-rounded and effective approach.
