The Egyptian Ministry of Health launched the country’s first locally produced long-acting insulin on December 17, in collaboration with Eva Pharma and global giant Eli Lilly and Company. The launch event was held at Eva Pharma’s factory in Giza. Health Minister Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar highlighted the significance of the occasion, stating that Egypt is prioritizing the localization of pharmaceutical production.
