Royal Enfield is set to launch an exciting new motorcycle, the Interceptor Bear 650, a special edition or adventure-ready version of the popular Interceptor 650. This motorcycle is expected to cater to adventurists and classic design enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of style, performance, and touring capabilities. The bike is expected to retain the signature retro styling of Royal Enfield while incorporating rugged, adventure-ready elements.
The Interceptor Bear 650 is likely to feature rounded LED headlights, a raised front mudguard, chunky dual-purpose tires, and wide handlebars for enhanced control and stability on rough terrains. The bike may also come with new, rugged color options, setting it apart from the standard Interceptor 650.
The bike is expected to be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine as the Interceptor 650 and Super Meteor 650, producing 46.8 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque. The engine is anticipated to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smooth gear shifts. Royal Enfield may also tune the suspension and chassis for better off-road capability.
The Interceptor Bear 650 is likely to feature a mix of classic and modern technology, including a semi-digital instrument cluster, tripper navigation system, USB charging port, ABS, and new suspension setup with long-travel forks for better off-road performance.
The motorcycle is expected to be priced slightly higher than the standard Interceptor 650, which has a current ex-showroom price of around ₹3.03 lakh. The launch date is yet to be confirmed, but it is anticipated to be a highly anticipated release in the motorcycle industry.
