Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has unveiled a 7.0-liter engine upgrade for the Chevrolet Corvette C8, which produces over 700 horsepower on 91 octane fuel. This upgrade is a significant boost over the standard C8’s 6.2-liter V8 engine, which produces 460 horsepower.
The Lingenfelter 7.0L upgrade is available for $29,950 and offers several optional enhancements to further improve performance. These include a carbon intake manifold, ported throttle body, and Halltech cold air intake, as well as upgrades to the exhaust system, such as the Corsa Xtreme exhaust system and Corsa headers.
To fully realize the power potential of the 7.0L engine, Lingenfelter recommends pairing it with a high-flow exhaust and air intake system. The company also suggests complementary additions, such as the Carbon pTR and Billet LT2 Wilson intake manifolds, to the 427 engine package for maximum performance.
This upgrade is a significant option for Corvette enthusiasts who want to take their car beyond the standard Z06 model. The Lingenfelter 7.0L engine upgrade is available for the 2022 Corvette C8, which has a starting price of $69,995 and comes in three trim levels: Stingray, Z06, and ZR1.
Overall, the Lingenfelter 7.0L engine upgrade offers a significant increase in power and performance for the Chevrolet Corvette C8, making it a great option for enthusiasts who want to take their car to the next level.
