Tata Curvv EV has been announced as the official car for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025, starting from today till March 15, 2025. This is a significant step in Tata’s partnership with cricket leagues, following the success of its previous EVs as official cars. The Curvv EV features a 12.3-inch touchscreen, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a wireless charger, among other modern features. It also comes with a range of safety features, including six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and Level-2 ADAS.
The Curvv EV is available with two battery pack options: 45 kWh and 55 kWh, offering power levels of 150 PS and 167 PS, respectively. It also boasts a claimed range of up to 502 km and 585 km, respectively, with charging times ranging from 40 minutes (10% to 80%) to 6.5 hours (10% to 100%). The Curvv EV goes head-to-head with the MG ZS EV and will be competing with upcoming models like the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX.
Tata’s partnership with the WPL and IPL has been ongoing since 2018, with its EVs serving as official cars. The Curvv EV’s inclusion in the WPL 2025 marks a significant step towards Tata’s expansion into the EV space, following the success of its previous models.
