Stapleton’s Tyre Services, a tyre distributor, has taken delivery of 30 new Isuzu N75.190(E) rigids to replace older trucks in their 7.5-tonne fleet. The new trucks are bodied with 18ft boxes from Essex Bodies to maximize load capacity. The Isuzu N Series trucks will be used for new tyre deliveries and casing collections as part of their recycling program. The fleet, which consists of 1,300 commercial vehicles, has been exclusively Isuzu since 2007.

The company’s head of group vehicles, Nick Cooper, praised Isuzu’s payload, reliability, and customer support, stating that they consistently choose Isuzu due to its superior performance. The new trucks are expected to stay on the fleet for six years, covered by a repair and maintenance contract. The trucks will operate six days a week, with an annual mileage of around 65,000 miles.

Isuzu Truck UK’s national fleet sales manager, Lee Tansley, expressed pride in the company’s relationship with Stapleton’s Tyre Services, highlighting the customized bodywork and reliability of the Isuzu chassis. The company is set to exhibit at the Road Transport Expo 2025, which takes place in June, and invites attendees to register for free.

Overall, the partnership between Stapleton’s Tyre Services and Isuzu Trucks demonstrates the manufacturer’s commitment to providing reliable and customizable vehicles that meet the specific needs of its customers. The new trucks will enable Stapleton’s to optimize their operations and continue to deliver high-quality service to their customers.
