Dr. Goenka’s association with Mahindra & Mahindra began in 1993, and over the years, he rose through the ranks to become the Managing Director of the company. Under his leadership, the company experienced remarkable growth, with revenues increasing 25-fold and profits rising 55-fold over two decades.
Dr. Goenka is a strong advocate for electric mobility and has played a pivotal role in steering the Indian automotive industry towards innovation and sustainability. His tenure at Mahindra & Mahindra was marked by a focus on research and development, leading to the company’s success in the SUV market and its position as the world’s largest tractor manufacturer.
