Isuzu Motors India is set to showcase its electric mobility concept, the D-MAX BEV, at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) prototype was first unveiled in Thailand earlier this year and has been designed to meet a range of commercial and passenger vehicle needs while maintaining the performance and toughness expected of pickup trucks. The D-MAX BEV features a full-time 4WD system, high towing capacity, and a robust frame and body design, making it suitable for various applications.
In addition to the D-MAX BEV, Isuzu will also showcase the accessorized version of the D-MAX S-CAB Z, a testament to the brand’s legacy of delivering robust, reliable, and versatile vehicles. The company has achieved significant milestones in 2024, including producing one lakh vehicles at its manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh and strengthening its position as a leading exporter of commercial vehicles from India.
Isuzu Motors India has also expanded its reach across the country and is committed to increasing its touch points to bring the brand closer to its customers. The company has made strides in workforce diversity, with 22% of its production line workforce comprising talented women, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. Isuzu’s philosophy of “Never Stop” remains at the heart of its operations, driving its efforts to create meaningful mobility solutions.
The unveiling of the D-MAX BEV marks a significant step in Isuzu’s journey toward sustainable innovation and its commitment to developing future-ready solutions. The company’s focus on electric mobility and sustainable solutions aligns with its “Bharat Mobility” theme of “Now… and Forever,” emphasizing its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
