The Tata Harrier EV is a new electric version of the popular Harrier SUV, which was shown in a production-ready form at the 2025 Auto Expo. The EV stands out from the regular Harrier with its unique design elements, including a closed-off grille and aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. The electric version also features an all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain and a “Harrier.EV” moniker on the front doors.
The exterior design is largely similar to the regular Harrier, with the EV featuring a redesigned bumper with vertical slats, whereas the regular Harrier has a chrome mesh pattern. The EV also gets a “Harrier.EV” badge on the tailgate. The interior is similar to the regular Harrier, with a dual-tone black and white theme.
The Harrier EV is expected to have a range of over 500 km on a single charge and will feature a dual-motor setup producing 500 Nm of torque, powering all four wheels. The regular Harrier, on the other hand, comes with a 2.0-liter diesel engine.
The Harrier EV is expected to be priced around Rs 25 lakh, making it a potential rival to the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3. The EV will also offer additional features such as a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and dual-zone AC, setting it apart from the regular Harrier. With its unique design, impressive powertrain, and feature-packed interior, the Tata Harrier EV is poised to make a mark in the electric SUV segment.
