Deutsche Bank forecasts BYD Group to sell 5.52 million vehicles in 2025, an increase of 29% from 2024. The analyst team expects the BYD brand to sell 5.1 million units in 2025, up 25% from 2024. Denza brand sales are expected to rise to 250,000 units, up 100% year-on-year, while Fang Cheng Bao sales are expected to reach 160,000 units, up 184% year-on-year. BYD is also expected to sell 7,500 Yangwang units, flat year-on-year. In addition, Deutsche Bank forecasts 800,000 units of sales in overseas markets, up 92% from 2024.
The analysts also expect the launch of several new models in 2025, including the ultra-large MPV model “Xia”, the ultra-large SUV “Tang L”, and the ultra-large sedan “Han L”, which are expected to contribute to monthly sales of 8,000 units, or an annualized 100,000 units each year. BYD also plans to include autonomous driving capabilities in all of its products by 2025, with options for highway navigation on autopilot in lower-priced models and urban navigation on autopilot in higher-priced models.
