Fiat is planning to revive the success of their iconic Panda model with an all-new “Panda family”. The plan is to create a range of models under the Panda nameplate, similar to how the Volkswagen Group has done with their Golf and Skoda brands. The new Panda family will be designed to appeal to a wider audience, with a focus on sustainability, technology, and modernity.

The first model in the new Panda family is the Panda 4×4, a compact SUV expected to arrive in 2023. It will feature a hybrid powertrain, offering both electric and internal combustion engine options. The car is expected to have a range of around 300 km (186 miles) on a single charge.

Fiat has announced plans to introduce more members of the Panda family in the coming years, including a three-door hatchback, a wagon, and potentially even a pickup truck. The goal is to make the Panda a global brand, with plans to export the cars to markets beyond Europe, including the US and Asia. With its commitment to sustainability and modern design, Fiat hopes to rekindle the success of the iconic Panda model and make it a major player in the global automotive market.
