Audi Vietnam has launched a unique campaign to sell its 2024 Q8 models, using a novel approach that combines automotive presentation with neuroscience. The campaign, developed by Happiness Saigon, uses electroencephalography (EEG) to measure the brain activity of potential buyers as they interact with the vehicle. At the dealership, customers wear EEG headsets to monitor their brain waves while experiencing the Q8’s features. The goal is to determine if each individual is a “good match” for the vehicle. The campaign’s success will depend on whether the measured emotional responses translate into increased sales and customer loyalty. While the approach is innovative, it raises ethical questions about data privacy and the potential for misinterpreting neurological data. With Vietnam’s luxury car market growing, Audi aims to set a new standard for car sales by leveraging cutting-edge technology.
