Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai India are set to launch new electric vehicle (EV) models in 2025. The Hyundai Creta EV has been spotted during testing and is expected to debut at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, with a 45kWh battery pack offering a range of around 450 km on a single charge. Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to launch its first electric car, the e Vitara, which will be showcased at the same expo. The e Vitara is expected to have two battery packs, 49kWh and 61kWh, offering a range of up to 550 km on a single charge. Tata Motors is also set to launch the Sierra EV, which is likely to debut at the expo and is expected to be launched in the second half of 2025. These upcoming EV models are expected to meet the growing demand for electric cars in India, which has been increasing in recent years.
