Royal Enfield has unveiled the Classic 650 Twin, the sixth motorcycle based on its 650cc platform. The new model will be launched in India in January 2024. The Classic 650 Twin is essentially a larger version of the Classic, with a bigger engine and chassis borrowed from the Shotgun 650. The bike features a circular headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, circular taillight, and dual exhausts. The analogue instrument console is similar to the Classic 350. The 648cc parallel-twin engine produces 46.4 horsepower and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch. The bike is equipped with a telescopic front fork, dual shock absorbers, and disc brakes at both ends. Overall, the Classic 650 Twin is a powerful and feature-packed motorcycle that is expected to appeal to enthusiasts and commuters alike. With its launch scheduled for January 2024, it’s likely to be a top contender in the 650cc segment.
