Royal Enfield’s Himalayan Electric 2.0 project is progressing towards production, following the debut of the Flying Flea C6. The Himalayan Electric 2.0 was showcased at EICMA 2024 and Motoverse in Goa, featuring significant upgrades and design changes. Inspired by the Himalayan 450, the electric model combines adventure tourer and rally-inspired design elements, including a tall windscreen and round LED headlamp. The prototype features a more compact design due to its enclosed battery pack and electric motor. The bike is expected to debut around the same time as the Flying Flea C6 in Spring 2026, with an upgraded battery pack, e-motor, and redesigned instrument console. Key features include wire-spoked wheels, dual-channel ABS, and electronic suspension, which promises improved performance and adaptability. The bike also features golden upside-down forks and LED turn indicators that function as tail lamps. Royal Enfield is working on three electric motorcycles for the Indian market, with the S6 expected to follow in 2027.
