BMW M2: Second-Generation Car Launched in India

BMW India has launched the second-generation M2 sports car as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, priced at INR 1,03,00,000 ex-showroom. The new M2 offers increased power, a striking design, and innovative features, setting a new benchmark in its segment.

Design and Features

The car features a new design that reflects its powerful performance, with a black exhaust pipe, M Frameless kidney grille with horizontal bars, and flared side skirts. The interior includes an M leather steering wheel, weight-minimized M Carbon bucket seats, and a touchscreen display.

Engine and Transmission

The car is powered by a 6-cylinder in-line engine that delivers a maximum output of 480 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The transmission options include an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Suspension and Brakes

The car comes with Adaptive M-Specific Suspension, M Sport Differential, and M high-performance compound brakes.

Safety and Features

Standard safety features include head and side airbags for front occupants, head airbags for rear seats, and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with ABS.

The car also comes with a range of features including a multifunction steering wheel, heated seats with lumbar support, and an automatic anti-dazzle function for all mirrors.
