Deepika Warrier, Head of Marketing at Bajaj Auto, has left the company after joining in August of last year. Sumeet Narang, previously President and Business Unit Head for Probiking (KTM and Triumph) at Bajaj Auto, has taken over as President of Marketing. Narang has been with the company for nearly 11 years, previously serving as Vice-President of Marketing for the Motorcycle Business and later leading the Pro-biking business. Warrier, a seasoned marketer with over 29 years of experience, joined Bajaj Auto from PepsiCo, where she held various leadership positions, including CEO and MD of NourishCo Beverages. Before that, she worked at PepsiCo India in various roles, including Marketing Director for Foods and Beverages. She also held positions at Gillette, Ogilvy & Mather, and Britannia Industries Ltd. Sumeet Narang’s new responsibilities will include managing marketing strategies for motorcycles, electric vehicles, scooters, and three-wheelers, and reporting to Executive Director Rakesh Sharma.
