The 2nd edition of the India Bioenergy & Tech Expo (IBET 2025) is scheduled to take place from September 24-26, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi. The three-day international exhibition and conference is themed “Transition to Net Zero: Need to Scale up Bio-energy Initiatives” and will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari. The event aims to accelerate India’s transition to clean energy by bringing together global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts.

The conference will feature over 170 senior government officials, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers participating in 30 sessions, covering key areas such as biofuels, sustainable aviation fuel, biomass, carbon credits, and green hydrogen. Around 500 delegates are expected to attend the event. The exhibition will showcase the latest technologies from leading companies like Praj Industries, Reliance New Energy, and Indian Oil Ventures, with over 100 companies presenting their products and services in the clean energy space.

The event has garnered significant support from government ministries, including the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Power, and Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, as well as industry associations like ISMA and WBA. Uttar Pradesh, a leading state in India’s bioenergy sector, will participate as the Partner State and host a special session on investment opportunities.

The valedictory session on September 26 will be attended by Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, who will present the India Green Energy Awards. Other notable attendees include Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Naik, who will be the Chief Guest at the plenary session on September 25. Side events like the Farm to Fuel Seminar, CBG plant setup workshops, and buyer-seller meetings are also planned to take place during the event. Overall, IBET 2025 promises to be a significant platform for discussing and promoting India’s transition to clean energy.
