Honda has unveiled its first full-size electric motorcycle, the WN7, which will initially be available in European markets. The WN7 was first showcased as a concept at EICMA 2024 and has since been teased and tested in Europe. The bike will make its full public debut at EICMA 2025, where its complete specifications will be revealed.

The Honda WN7 has a claimed range of over 130km and features CCS2 fast charging, which can charge the battery to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. It is powered by an 18kW water-cooled motor that produces 100Nm of torque, comparable to a 600cc ICE bike. The bike also features a fixed lithium-ion battery and weighs 217kg.

The WN7 has a minimalist design and features a five-inch TFT display with RoadSync smartphone pairing and EV-specific menus. It also has all-LED lighting and a single-sided swingarm. The bike will be available in three colors: gloss black with copper accents, matte black, and grey.

Honda will also offer an 11kW variant of the WN7, aimed at A1 license holders in Europe. The bike has been priced at Rs 12,999 (approximately Rs 15.56 lakh), with deliveries scheduled to begin after its formal debut at EICMA 2025.

The WN7 name is derived from three elements: “W” represents the development theme of Wind, “N” denotes the bike’s naked motorcycle design, and “7” refers to the power class it belongs to. The bike’s charging options include CCS2 rapid charging and a 6kVA home wall-box charger, which can fully charge the battery in under three hours.

Overall, the Honda WN7 is a significant step forward for the company in the electric motorcycle market. Its impressive range, fast charging, and powerful motor make it an attractive option for those looking for a high-performance electric bike. With its debut at EICMA 2025, the WN7 is sure to generate a lot of interest and excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts.
