The supplier, which is also used by rival food group Danone, has been identified as the source of the contaminated oil. The FSA is urging parents to stop using the recalled formula and switch to an alternative. If a baby has already consumed the recalled formula, parents are advised to contact their GP or NHS 111. Parents can check the code on the base of the tin or box for powdered formulas or on the side or top of the container for ready-to-feed formulas.<\/p>\n
Nestl\u00e9 has apologized for the recall and stated that it had “moved quickly and decisively” to issue a recall notice on January 5.
