The 13th annual flower and vegetable show, organized by Tata Steel’s West Bokaro division, has opened at the Tata Steel Sports complex in Ramgarh district. The three-day event, which will conclude on January 5, features 54 stalls from various institutions, vendors, and schools. The exhibition showcases a diverse range of flowers, vegetables, and plants, as well as competitions such as sand painting, rangoli, and sketch and color painting. Additionally, local nurseries will participate in contests, and cultural performances celebrating Jharkhand’s heritage will be held. The event was inaugurated by DB Sundara Ramam, Vice-President (Raw Materials) at Tata Steel, who emphasized the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and upholding the values of their ancestors, who recognized the importance of nature in human life. The event is part of Tata Steel’s efforts to enhance community life and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations.
