Bosch Group announced yesterday that Italian businessman Matchello Lu Sardi has been appointed as its new president, effective immediately.

The Bosch Group has appointed Matchello Lu Suardi as the new president of Robert Bosch Korea, effective January 1, 2024. Lu Suardi succeeds Alex Driyaka and will also serve as general manager of Robert Bosch Korea’s power solutions division. With over 20 years of experience in the mobility sector, Lu Suardi holds a master’s degree in industrial and management engineering from Italy’s Modena Reggio Emilia University. He joined Bosch Group in 2005 and held executive positions in several markets, including Germany, the US, and China. Most recently, he was head of the commercial vehicle computer division at Bosch’s cross-domain computing solutions division in Germany. Lu Suardi believes that Korea’s strong infrastructure and skilled workforce make it an attractive market with long-term growth potential. He aims to continue providing innovative products, software, and services to Korean customers, building on Robert Bosch Korea’s legacy of excellence.
