A fatal accident near Odisha’s Angul as a pickup truck collides with a motorcycle, claiming the life of a Jindal Steel Plant employee.

An employee of Jindal Steel Plant in Odisha’s Angul district died after a truck hit a motorcycle he was riding to work on National Highway-55. Vikram Routray was killed on the spot, while his co-worker Karanveer Gopi was critically injured and taken to the hospital. The accident occurred around 5:30 am near Prashanti Hotel, when the truck hit the motorcycle from behind. Angul police launched an investigation and recovered Vikram’s body for post-mortem. Locals protested the incident, demanding action and improved safety measures on the highway. The road was temporarily blocked due to the protest.
