The Tata Group has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian brand to surpass a brand value of $30 billion, with a 10% increase in value, according to the latest report by Brand Finance. This makes it India’s most valuable brand, with a total brand value of over $30 billion. The report, which includes the India 100 rankings, shows that the total brand value of the top 100 Indian brands is around $236.5 billion.

The Tata Group’s success has made Ratan Tata proud, and Noel Tata, who is also a part of the group, has played a significant role in its growth. The group’s brand value increase is attributed to its diversified portfolio and strong presence in various industries. The report also mentions that India’s GDP growth, projected to be between 6-7% for FY26, is expected to help leading Indian brands leverage new opportunities.

Other notable Indian brands have also seen significant growth in their brand value. Infosys has become the second most valuable brand, with a 15% increase in value to $16.3 billion. The HDFC Group is third, with a 37% increase in brand value to $14.2 billion. LIC and HCLTech have also seen significant growth, with brand values of $13.6 billion and $8.9 billion, respectively.

The Adani Group has been named the fastest-growing Indian brand, with a staggering 82% increase in brand value. This growth is attributed to the group’s focus on infrastructure and surge in green energy ambitions. Zomato, which has been rebranded as Eternal, has also entered the Brand Finance India 100 2025 rankings for the first time, with a brand value of $1 billion.

The top 10 most valuable Indian brands have seen double-digit growth in value, with the Mahindra Group and Larsen & Toubro Group also featuring in the list. The report highlights the growing strength of Indian brands, with many expected to leverage the country’s projected GDP growth to expand their presence and increase their brand value. Overall, the Tata Group’s achievement is a significant milestone for Indian businesses, and it is expected to inspire other companies to strive for similar success.
