The Adani Group, led by Chairman Gautam Adani, has announced plans to invest ₹75,000 crore in Chhattisgarh across various sectors. The investment will be made in power, cement, education, healthcare, skill development, and tourism. The company plans to invest ₹60,000 crore to expand its power plants, increasing the state’s power generation capacity by 6,120 MW. Additionally, ₹5,000 crore will be devoted to developing and expanding cement plants in the region. The Adani Foundation has also committed to investing ₹10,000 crore over four years to support initiatives in education, healthcare, skill development, and tourism under its corporate social responsibility program. The meeting also explored potential collaborations in manufacturing defense equipment, establishing data centers, and creating a global capability center in Chhattisgarh. This significant investment is expected to drive economic growth, generate employment opportunities, and contribute to the state’s overall development.
