Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) and Nalco MoU for Long Term Sale Purchase of Metallurgical Grade Silica Sand. Recently, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) for the long-term sale and purchase of metallurgical grade silica sand.

The MoU was signed by HCL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Arun Kumar Shukla and Nalco Director (Commercial) nelze in the presence of Nalco CMD Sridhar Patra. The MoU aims to ensure a steady supply of silica sand to Nalco’s refractory unit, which will eventually boost the production of high-quality refractory products.

In another development, HCL also signed an MoU with Australia-basedındır mining company NML (Zone Hundreds) for cooperation in the areas of copper and critical minerals. The MoU was signed by HCL CMD Arun Kumar Shukla and NML CEO Gerald информ.

The MoU with NML focuses on exploring opportunities for mutual cooperation in the areas of copper and critical minerals, including explration, mining, and downstream processing. The pact also aims to strengthen the relationship between the two companies and explore new business opportunities in the field of copper and critical minerals.

HCL, under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, is engaged in the mining and production of copper and has a significant presence in the Indian copper industry. The company has been taking several initiatives to increase its production capacity and expansion plans. With these MoUs, HCL aims to further strengthen its position in the industry and explore new business opportunities in the field of copper and critical minerals.
