A 3-day capacity-building program was conducted by NGO Aroha in collaboration with the HCL Foundation from March 27-29 at INFED, IIM Nagpur. The program targeted 25 women from the stitching cluster, aiming to enhance their skills. The event was inaugurated by Sridarakishore Subramanian, associate vice-president of HCL Tech, along with other dignitaries.
The training was divided into four sessions:
* Day 1: Covered foundational knowledge, including cluster development, communication skills, and digital literacy.
* Day 2: Focused on ‘Skills of success’ and ‘Production, planning & efficiency’, highlighting practical applications in business operations.
* Day 3: Emphasized ‘Business development requirements’ and ‘Financial & business management’, including essential business strategies.
Sessions were conducted by experts such as Payal Nagpure, Aniruddha Athavle, Rohan Bhamkar, and CA Raghav Gokhale. The program concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where certificates were awarded to participants. In the ceremony, feedback was also gathered from the participants. The initiative aimed to empower women through skill development and promote entrepreneurship in the region.
