Grasim Industries, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, has appointed Vadiraj Kulkarni as the new Business Head of its Cellulosic Fibres division, effective April 1, 2025. Kulkarni takes over from HK Agarwal, who moves into a Group Advisor role at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited (ABMCPL). The appointment marks a significant leadership change within the company, bringing in fresh expertise and experience in the sector.
Kulkarni brings over 28 years of leadership experience in profit and loss management, operations, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Grasim Industries in October 2024, he was the Chief Executive Officer of ITC Limited’s Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division. His background includes experience in agro products, tobacco, and the pulp and paper sectors. With his extensive knowledge and track record of success, Kulkarni is well-equipped to lead Grasim Industries’ Cellulosic Fibres division forward.
