A devastating explosion occurred at the steel melting shop (SMS) of Tata Steel’s Kalinganagar plant in Jaipur, resulting in nine workers being injured. The blast occurred at around 11:30 am on Friday, leaving the employees with burn injuries. The workers were rushed to Tata Steel Medica Hospital in Kalinganagar for immediate medical attention. According to the company, one of the injured workers has already been discharged after receiving first aid, while the others are undergoing treatment.

Tata Steel has informed the authorities and family members of the injured workers, and the incident site has been cordoned off for further investigation. An internal investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion, though the exact cause is yet to be ascertained. Kalinganagar police and local administration officials have also launched a probe into the incident.

The company has assured that the medical team is attending to the injured workers, and all of them are considered to be out of danger.
